Just
Do It
Every
day, at the same time, do one small chore that you don't want
to do, that will bring a little order to your surroundings.
This chore should take two minutes or less. It does not need
to be a complete chore. For instance, you may not be able
to organize all your files, but you could put all the bills
in one folder, and file the folder. If this exercise represents
something entirely new for you, you will be very resistant
to it. You will rationalize not doing it by saying it is stupid,
and it won't do any good, and won't make any difference so
why bother. Do it anyway. The idea here is process rather
than content. It doesn't matter what you do, it just matters
that you do it. The idea is to start over-riding the lower-brain
primal mind by an act of will.
