The
Cat Comes Back
Another
way to get in touch with hidden fears or hidden motivations
is with dramatic play. It works for adults as well as children.
Best to do this in a room where we have some space in the
middle and won't bump into something. We become a cat. We
get down on all fours, close our eyes, arch our back, stretch,
let our cells start to change into cat cells, let our eyes
start to see as cat's eyes, be the ancient returning of our
soul to cat body, act out our feelings, bounce, or pounce,
or stalk, or writhe. Twenty minutes is a good time. We can
do this to African drum beats too.
